OCA’s MOTOR INSURANCE is a plan that provides protection for vehicle owners against losses that may arise out of accidents involving the insured vehicle.

Malaysian law (Road Transport Act 1987) requires that any person who puts a vehicle on the road should be insured against liability for injury or death to third parties. Our motor policy complies with the relevant laws of Malaysia, the Republic of Singapore and Negara Brunei Darussalam. Besides being compliant with these laws, our motor polices also have several other benefits as outlined in the sections that follow.

Motor Insurance in Malaysia is subject to Cash Before Cover (CBC) Regulations under the Insurance Act 1996. This Act requires premium to be paid to the insurance company before a cover note or policy is issued. However premium paid to a duly authorized agent of the company is deemed to be payment made to the company.
